Day 1

Arrival in Managua and transfer from the airport.

Night in Granada in a 3-star character hotel

Day 2

Visit the colonial city of Granada in the morning on foot with the option to bike around Lake Cocibolca in the afternoon. Night at the same 3-star hotel.

Day 3

Transfer to the Ometepe island, exploration of the Concepción volcano area. Night in a "cabin" on an unusual place on the banks of the lake.

Day 4

Petroglyphs circuit, walk through the woods on the slopes of Maderas volcano, swim in a natural pool... Night at the hotel.

Day 5

Transfer to the airport and fly diagonally over Lake Cocibolca, accompanied by a guide from our agency, towards Rio San Juan where we will go downstream for 3 hours. Night at El Castillo in a 2-star hotel next to the river.

Day 6

Visit the fort and village in the morning, walk in the woods in the afternoon, tour the trails of the Bartola retreat. Night in a comfortable cabin at the Bartola reserve.

Day 7

At dawn, walk around the Indio Maiz reserve, back to the hotel to recover strength with the excellent cuisine of Mrs. Sandra. Rowing upstream the tributary Bartola river in the afternoon. Overnight at the Bartola retreat.

Day 8

Head back to San Carlos, and embark towards the Solentiname archipelago. On the same route, visit to the island of San Fernando. Night in a 2-star hotel.

Day 9

Up the Papaturros river amid abundant wildlife, and sightseeing from the "suspension bridges" at the Guatuzos shelter where alligators will greet us. Back to Mancarron island to visit the town where priest Ernesto Cardenal used to live. Night at the same hotel and then the return trip is à la carte, you can choose: 1 hour by foot or 10 minutes by boat.

Day 10

To San Carlos by boat to the island of birds: Zapote. Flight to Managua, where our driver will pick you up and then take you to Leon. A change of guides and then off to visit the city. Night in 2-stars hotel.

Day 11

Climbing the Cerro Negro volcano in the morning and walk in Las Penitas in the Pacific. Night in a small beach hotel whose motto is "Where time stands still”…

Day 12

A long boat ride, along with a local guide, through the mangroves to observe the flora and fauna features, Night at the hotel.

Day 13

Return to the Granada area. En route, visit the Masaya volcano and the town market. Arrival in the afternoon at your islet, El Roble. Night in 3-star Ecolodge.

Day 14

Full board on an exclusive islet, water activities and/or rest. Dip into the Spanish language with the local crew. Francisco will show you around his water neighborhood. Night at the 3-star Ecolodge.

Day 15

Closing ceremony in Granada. Overnight at the 3-star hotel as day 1.

Day 16

Transfer to the airport in Managua.
